The Carcoar Dam Sailing Club
The Carcoar Dam Sailing Club is a friendly, family club offering racing and social cruising each Sunday during the warmer months.
Established in Orange during the 1960's at Lake Canobolas, the Club relocated to it's current location in 1973 when it became the Carcoar Dam Sailing Club (C.D.S.C).
We have a small fleet of club dinghies (Lasers, Spiral and Open Bic) available for members, a rescue boat, windsurfers and kayaks, and a well equipped clubhouse with a kitchen, hot showers, ammenities and BBQ.
The club has wonderful views of the dam and is surrounded by native trees, making an ideal camping ground for visiting sailors and their families.
The Club is proud to announce we have just been awarded our accreditation as an Australian Sailing 'Discover Sailing Centre'. This accreditation will allow us to start offering 'Learn to Sail' programs for both adults and children.
With the help of Ren Reimers, our Commodore and accredited Australian Sailing Coach we have recently had 5 members become qualified sailing instructors so that we can launch our 'Learn to Sail' programs in late 2026.
We are also hoping to earn a NSW Sport grant to help facilitate the program, help maintain our current fleet of club vessels and add another two larger boats for training a crew of children or two adults.

3 - 4 April 2027
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Saturday 3 April 2027 - Registration from 9am at the Clubhouse
Early Bird Registration: $50 per vessel for weekend of racing
Register BEFORE 20th March 2027 for Early Bird Price! Register now and pay later
(24 hours prior to Regatta)
Registrations AFTER 20th March will be $60 per vessel
Briefing to be held before each race with 3 races to be held on Saturday commencing after 11am
Races will be held dependant on prevailing weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: Our Club is completely off-grid therefore please be considerate of our environment when camping and visiting the Club.
We operate on a septic system and it's important to note that no 240v power supply is available.
